QuickJack is designed to be straightforward to set up, even if you've never owned a car lift or worked with hydraulics before. Most components arrive pre-installed. Initial assembly primarily involves preparing and tightening the required fittings, pressurizing the air cylinders and preparing the power unit.

Your QuickJack arrives in three boxes: two frame assemblies and a third package containing the power unit, hoses, lifting blocks and fittings.

The frame assemblies, hoses and power unit include fittings that must be prepared and installed according to the setup instructions. Apply thread seal tape where specified and properly tighten the fittings.
Each frame contains an air cylinder that needs to be charged during initial setup. A hand pump, foot pump or air compressor equipped for a Schrader valve can be used for this step.
How QuickJack Air Cylinders Work
Ensure the power unit fittings are properly installed and secure, then add the hydraulic fluid specified in the instructions. Hydraulic fluid is not included with the lift.
Complete the remaining setup procedures, confirm that both frames operate correctly and perform the required final inspection before using QuickJack to lift a vehicle.
Each QuickJack frame contains both a hydraulic cylinder and an air cylinder. They perform different jobs during the lifting and lowering cycle.
When you press Up on the pendant control, hydraulic fluid travels from the power unit to the lifting cylinders. The hydraulic system raises the frames and the vehicle while the mechanical locking system provides the lift's locking positions.
The weight of the vehicle helps the hydraulic cylinders retract while the vehicle is being lowered. Once the wheels reach the ground and that weight is removed from the frames, the charged air cylinders help push the hydraulic cylinders through the final portion of their retraction.
