California Prop 65 Warning

WARNING

Use of these products can expose you to chemicals including styrene and vinyl chloride which are on the list of over 900 chemicals identified by the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm. ALWAYS use this product in accordance with the manufactures instructions. For more information, go to www.p65warnings.ca.gov.

This warning is required by the California Proposition 65 (Prop 65), also called the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act which is meant to notify California residents of exposures to Prop 65 listed chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The State of California maintains a list of these chemicals and updates in annually. The Prop 65 list currently contains over 900 chemicals and continues to expand. The law requires companies to provide a warning on their products and/or packaging if they contain these chemicals. Proposition 65 only applies to companies that operate, manufacture or sell products in California, but because our products are sold all over the world we have elected to include Prop 65 warnings on all products we sell to provide consumers with information so that they can make informed decisions about the products they purchase and use. The warning does not mean that the product is in violation of any product safety standard, but that certain chemicals may have been used in the manufacturing or packaging production process, even if these products have been used for many years without documented harm.
